GAMC President Kimble Carter Joins NAMA’s Nutrition Leadership Committee

CHICAGO – July 6, 2015 – NAMA announced today that Kimble Carter has been named to the NAMA Nutrition Leadership Committee.

“With his longtime expertise as an operator committed to providing “better for you” choices to his customers, we welcome Kimble to our Nutrition Leadership Committee,” said Roni Moore, Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for NAMA.

With a first business founded in 1975, Kimble has spent a career expanding his business to include an operation with 55 facilities from North Carolina to Florida, from the east coast of Georgia to Mississippi. In addition to vending and micro markets, Kimble’s business includes a full-scale events operation, catering special occasions of all sizes, including weddings and community activities.

In addition to his role as President of the Georgia Automated Merchandising Council (GAMC), an NCE5 NAMA Graduate and 2015 winner of the NAMA Advocacy Award, Kimble serves on the Troup County Chamber of Commerce, the State Board of Georgia Sheriffs Youth Homes and is a member of the Troup County Kiwanis. Created in 2014, NAMA’s Nutrition Leadership Committee ensures vending and micro market operators have a voice in nutrition programming. Comprised of industry professionals from around the country including Craig Hesch, Bill Jensen, Greg McCall, Rod Nester and Mark Stein, the Committee provides guidance on best practices in delivering important nutrition information and “better for you” choices to consumers.
