Farmer’s Fridge Expands, Brings Three Vending Machines To Chicago Hospital

Farmer’s Fridge, the startup company that uses vending kiosks to dispense fresh salads, will install three of its machines at Northwestern Medical Center in Chicago, IL, reports Chicago Tribune. The company has installed one machine at the hospital already with plans to install two more near the end of the month. The company, which launched in 2013, has grown to 13 kiosks and plans to have 100 kiosks in the next twelve months, said the source. The company also began experimenting with delivery service last fall.
