In a 47 to 0 vote, the Washington State Senate passed a bill to ban the sale of marijuana in vending machines and at drive-through windows. KGW reports that the senators voted to add the restriction to the state’s legalized trade in recreational marijuana.
An American Green ZaZZZ marijuana vending machine made its debut in Seattle in early February.
The bill moves to the state House for consideration.
