Canadian Judge Awards Damages In Vending Company Fraud Lawsuit

A judge in Vancouver, Canada, awarded a man with nearly $500,000 after he bought a vending machine company under fraudulent pretenses, according to Times Colonist. The man was convinced to pay a largely inflated fee for the vending company with the promise that the seller would buy back the business in the first year if it the buyer was unsatisfied, but that promise was not written into the contract.
