Bestselling author Verne Harnish will show vending companies how to ‘scale up’ in free webcast: Tuesday, Sep. 14

Sept. 13, 2021

Business coach and bestselling author Verne Harnish will present a special webcast hosted by the National Automatic Merchandising Association on Tuesday, Sep. 14, at 2 p.m. ET.

Registration is free.

It’s been almost two decades since Harnish’s popular book “Mastering the Rockefeller Habits” (2002) was released. “Scaling Up: How a Few Companies Make It…and Why the Rest Don’t” (2018) is the first major revision to this business classic.

In the latest “Scaling Up” printing, Harnish shares practical tools and techniques for building an industry-dominating business. His approach has been honed from over three decades of advising thousands of c-suite executives and helping them navigate the complexities (and weight) that come with scaling up a venture. But his book is written so everyone, from frontline employees to senior executives, can get aligned in contributing to a company’s growth.

In NAMA’s webcast this Tuesday, Harnish will lead an interactive workshop on growing the footprint of a vending business and increasing its value. “These aren't simple tips and best practices – you will learn how to harness your own knowledge and create a recipe for success tailored to your own business,” NAMA advised.

Harnish is founder of the Young Entrepreneurs' Organization, now known as Entrepreneurs' Organization, and the Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs. He is also cofounder and the principal of Growth Institute and the founder and chief executive of the company Scaling Up. He chairs the Birthing of Giants leadership program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the MIT/WEO Advanced Business Program for entrepreneurs over 40.
