NAMA Cancels CTW 2020 Show

Aug. 28, 2020

In an email sent to members from NAMA president and CEO Carla Balakgie on August 27, 2020, NAMA announced the cancellation of Coffee Tea & Water 2020:

Dear NAMA Members,

In response to the persistence of the COVID-19 pandemic, today we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Coffee Tea & Water Show (CTW). State and local government prohibitions on large gatherings make it impossible to host CTW in its traditional format. This difficult decision was made with critical input from NAMA’s elected leadership, membership and stakeholders through numerous conversations and surveys, with your safety as our top priority.

Thank you for your patience as we worked to reach this decision. We understand the importance of live events to our industry and regret the inability to convene our vibrant business community during 2020. I want to stress that despite our disappointment at how CTW has been impacted by COVID-19, our foremost priority is to ensure the health and well-being of our members, your companies, and your families. We remain steadfast in our optimism on the resiliency of this great industry and the future of CTW and look forward to the time we can all be together once again.

I know this continues to be a trying and unpredictable time, and I want you to know that Team NAMA is here for you.

Thank you and stay safe.

Sincerely,

Carla Balakgie

NAMA President & CEO
