Daniel R. Tomassetti, 62, vice president of Tomassetti Distributors in Meriden, CT, has passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Tomassetti, husband of Cheryl Angell Tomassetti, is survived by his two daughters, Nicole and Meghan Tomassetti; his son Kevin and his wife Jillian Tomassetti; and his grandchild Brayden Tomassetti, among many others, reports the Hartford Courant.
Tomassetti was a longtime member of the Connecticut Vending Association. "Danny was for a long time our Canada Dry supplier, friend and fellow boater who was always there if you needed him and even though we all competed in the vending business we also worked together for the benefit of all the vendors in the Connecticut Vending Association," said Tom Hayes, JHS/RIVER Vending. "He will truly be missed."
