From Aug. 1 through 22, the Valley Nature Center, located in Weslaco, TX, will be home to two vending machines that will house free meals-on-the-go for kids 18 and under, according to Valley Morning Star. Children can visit the center where they will be eligible for two free meals from the vending machines every day, including healthy cereals, Lunchables and various sandwiches.
The vending machines are one of three collaborative pilot projects between Texas Hunger Initiative and Share Our Strength. PepsiCo’s Food For Good will be providing the meals.
