Mexico’s President Announces Plans For National Soda Tax

President Enrique Pena Nieto of Mexico is taking a bold step to help collect more revenue and fight his country’s obesity problem – he wants to add a one peso (7.6 cents) tax on all sugary beverages, according to the Christian Science Monitor.
