Apriva announced that Paul Coppinger, the company’s co-founder and president, will speak at the Mobile Payments Conference, scheduled for Oct. 10 to 11 at the Park Central Hotel, N.Y. Coppinger’s session, “Mobile Commerce Today: Let the Cloud Be Your Guide,” is set for Thursday, Oct. 11 at 11:40 a.m.
In his session, Coppinger is expected to discuss the benefits that cloud-based mobile commerce platforms deliver to merchants, consumers and providers. His presentation will include an overview of a cloud infrastructure, and describe how these offerings can support NFC, EMV and existing magnetic stripe payments. In addition, the presentation will explain how cloud technologies can effectively integrate a multitude of services, such as mobile marketing, loyalty programs, redemption, ticketing, and other fulfillment capabilities.
