Virginia Seeks Bids For Managing Rest Areas, Including Vending

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell announced Thursday that the state is soliciting bids from private firms for a program that would help defray the cost of operating and maintaining the state's 42 highway rest areas, including vending machines, according to The Roanoke Times in Roanoke, Va.
