Chomps launched chicken snack sticks, adding three flavors to its meat-snack portfolio as the brand expands beyond its core beef and turkey offerings.
The chicken sticks come in Original Chicken, Nashville Hot and Savory Breakfast. Chomps said each stick contains 12 g of protein, 80 calories and zero grams of sugar. The products are made with antibiotic-free chicken.
Chomps said the chicken sticks are designed for portability and everyday snacking, positioning the line as a convenient, no-mess protein option for consumers on the go.
Why this matters for convenience services operators
- High protein snacking has moved from niche to default in workplaces, gyms, education, and healthcare accounts. Chicken broadens options beyond beef and turkey.
- Single-serve meat snacks offer strong “eat now, anywhere” usage occasions, which can help them sell in multiple dayparts.
- Consider creating a clear “Protein on the go” zone with sticks, shakes and bars to improve shopability and lift basket size in micro markets.
- Branded, protein-forward, “clean label” sticks can sustain premium pricing better than commodity snacks, especially among employers who want healthier choices.
