Nestlé CEO Mark Schneider spoke with Jim Cramer on "Mad Money" regarding how the company is responding to the coronavirus epidemic, assisting employees and the world in its operations decisions.
"This is a time where snacking and comfort food is just as important as essential nutrients," Schneider said in the finance TV show segment. "It's a stressful period for all of us so making sure that those products continue to be available is a big part of our job. The heroes of the hour, clearly, are our frontline workers. They're doing a tremendous jobs in our factories and distribution centers and quality assurance labs to be sure that that happens."
Schneider said executive leadership tries to regularly spends time with frontline workers at distribution centers and factories to support them. He also spoke about the company's support of food banks and hospitals.
