The International Coffee Organization (ICO) announced the passing of the Executive Director, Robério Oliveira Silva, on Dec. 30, 2016 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. “Silva’s dedication to the coffee community was exceptional and he will be deeply missed,” the ICO wrote on its website. “Our thoughts and condolences are with his family at this sad time.”
Silva had led the ICO since 2011 after 25 years working in commodities, reports GCR.
