Amazon Launches Its Own Branded Coffee In The U.S.

Online retail giant Amazon is making its way into perishable private-label foods. This week it began offering whole-bean and ground coffee for sale under its new private label called Happy Belly, The Wall Street Journal reports.

According to the source, bags of 12-ounce Happy Belly coffee cost $9.99 each, which is $2 more than Starbucks’ breakfast blend and $3 less than the Starbucks French roast.

The product is available for sale online and appears in several varieties.
