Afinia Label To Show Their Latest Printers At Coffee Fest Portland

Oct. 12, 2015

“Many coffee roasters have clients who want their own branded blends, but purchase in small amounts. Custom printed coffee bags must usually be purchased in quantities of 10,000 or 20,000,” said Mike Atkins, Afinia Label’s National Sales Manager. “Printing full color labels on demand solves this problem. Roasters are moving to in-house digital label printing for flexibility and new opportunities to expand revenue, while eliminating setup costs, waste, and lead times.”

The Afinia Label L801 Color Label Printer is powered by Memjet technology, which gives it a print speed of 60 feet per minute and an industry-leading ink cost of less than three cents for a 4” x 6” label with 75% coverage. This is a fraction of the cost of other inkjet label printers. The L801 supports three print modes: Roll to Roll, Roll to Cut, Print & Hold.

Epson’s ColorWorks™ C7500 inkjet printer allows businesses to dramatically reduce label costs, increase operational efficiencies and quickly produce high-quality, durable labels in four colors (CMYK). It is ideal for high-mix, low-volume applications and features print speeds of up to 11.8 inches/second.

Afinia Label emerged as a digital label printing system leader in 2012 when they collaborated with Memjet to create a commercially viable narrow web label printing solution. Afinia Label is now one of the largest distributors of Memjet-label printers in the world, with products available in 55 countries.

Afinia Label is a division of Microboards Technology LLC, a leader in specialized printing solutions. Their twenty-year history includes leadership in disc duplication, 3D printing and, most recently, digital label printing. More information can be found at, Twitter or by phone at 1.888.215.3966.
