Single-serve coffee demand drives Westrock’s new production facility
Private label coffee and tea manufacturer Westrock Coffee Co. has opened a new manufacturing facility in Conway, Ark., its second new production facility in the past year.
Intended to expand the company’s single-serve coffee product production, the 525,000 ft2 facility will primarily support fulfillment and distribution. Only 130,000 ft2 will be used for manufacturing.
Global demand for single-serve coffee continues to rise, the company noted while announcing the new facility, citing a coffee pods market valued at $35.3 billion in 2024 and a projection for it to grow to $71.2 billion by 2034.
What they are saying
“The single-serve category is evolving rapidly, and we are scaling our operations to meet our customers’ needs,” said Will Ford, COO at Westrock Coffee, in a release. “This expansive new facility significantly enhances our capabilities in the U.S. market, and we are excited about the opportunities it will create for our existing and potential customers, employees, and the local community here in central Arkansas.”
