Study: Moderate Coffee Consumption Is Good For The Heart

Moderate coffee consumption is good for the heart, according to research recently published in the journal Heart. A LA Times article explains the study citing that men and women who drank between three and five cups of coffee a day are likely to have less coronary artery calcium (CAC). High levels of CAC are an early sign of coronary heart disease. Over five cups of coffee however, and the drinkers showed higher levels of CAC.
