Laird Superfood launches hydration variety pack and single-serve sticks
Laird Superfood Inc. has expanded its Hydrate drink mix line with two new flavors, a variety pack and a new single-serve format for its original formula.
The company’s hydration powders are made with “real-food ingredients” and include Aquamin, a red marine algae ingredient that provides seaweed-derived calcium and magnesium. According to the company, Aquamin also provides more than 70 trace minerals, including potassium and sodium.
Wild Berry and Tropical Punch flavors will be added to the Hydrate range. Wild Berry contains a blend of antioxidant-rich maqui, calafate and murta berries while Tropical Punch combines a mix of fruits with real orange oil.
The fruit-flavored options are lightly sweetened with monk fruit and contain zero added sugar. In addition, Hydrate Original, made from only two ingredients (coconut water and Aquamin), is now available in an 8-oz bag and in new single-serve sticks.
Each product in the lineup contains electrolytes such as sodium and potassium to help replenish the body, the company said. Laird Superfood positions the powders as an alternative to conventional sports drinks and hydration mixes.
The full Hydrate range now includes Lemon, Mango-Pineapple, Original, Tropical Punch, and Wild Berry flavors, as well as a variety pack containing all five.
