Three new limited-time Mtn Dew flavors — in red, white and blue colors — celebrate the best of summer days and the great outdoors.
Available in 20 oz. bottles and 12 oz. cans across major retailers and convenience stores nationwide, the limited-time beverages have three distinct flavors:
- Star Spangled Splash combines berry flavors in a dazzling red color.
- Freedom Fusion delivers a refreshing lemonade-and-white-peach flavor in a frosty white color.
- Liberty Chill combines 50 flavors to create a bold midnight blue color and berry taste.
To encourage fans to try the new flavors and celebrate the start of summer, Mtn Dew hosted first Cooler Quest, an outdoor search contest. Across the country, 50 insulated backpack coolers filled with the new flavors as well as a $250 gift card were hidden for fans to find.
Though all of the coolers have been claimed, according to mtndewcoolerquest.com, the patriotically colored beverages are still available at retailers.
"There are two things our Mtn Dew fans look forward to every summer — new limited-edition flavors, and a chance to spend more time outdoors. This year, we decided to give our fans what they want by merging these two passions with this latest Mtn Dew offering that's bound to fuel their outdoor adventures," said JP Bittencourt, vice president of marketing.
