No Soda Tax For Diet Drinks in Seattle

The proposed Seattle soda tax will exclude diet drinks, reports The Seattle Times. The 2-cents-an-ounce tax will apply to sugary beverages, such as regular sodas, energy and sports drinks, as well as bottled teas and coffee that are sweetened with sugar.
