Philadelphia Projects $2.3 Million Revenue From Beverage Tax in January

City officials in Philadelphia predict $2.3 million in revenue from the sweetened beverage tax in Januaryreports WPVI-TVa local Philadelphia ABC News affiliate. That is only 30 percent of what is needed per month to hit the $91 million goal for the year, but as January was the first month of the new tax, it was expected to be lower.
