Gallup Poll: Majority Of Americans Try To Avoid Drinking Soda, Add Fruits And Vegetables

According to a recent GallUp Poll In 2015, 61 percent of Americans said they are actively trying to avoid soda in their diets. That is a sharp increase from 2002 when only 41 percent were avoiding that type of beverage. Likewise, the percentage of Americans who actively include soda in their diet has dropped since 2002, although not as drastically, from 36 percent to 22 percent. Conversely, 90 percent of Americans are actively adding fruits and vegetables to their diets and a large majority are adding lean meats.
