A Texas lawmaker has filed a bill that would legalize the sale of alcohol from self-serve machines, San Antonio Express News reports. Representative Richard Pena Raymond, D-Laredo, has filed House Bill 2118 which would give businesses authorized to sell alcoholic beverages the option of using an automatic alcohol machine.
The bill requires users to be 21 years or older and have a credit card that matches the name on the drivers license.
