Two Berkeley, CA Residents Sue Over Bias In Ballot Language For Soda Tax

Two residents of Berkeley, CA have sued the city for alleged bias in the ballot language for the proposed soda tax, according to The Daily Californian. The Berkeley City Council voted to include an ordinance on the November 2014 ballot that would impose a 1-cent-per-ounce tax on sugary drinks; however, the petition claims that ballot language includes misleading information for consumers.  Full article.
