Boylan Bottling Co., a craft soda maker, has expanded its presence in the state of Alabama by forging a distribution partnership with Supreme Beverage Co. of Birmingham, Ala.
“We are very excited to be joining forces with Supreme. They have created great success for many brands in their portfolio, and we know they will have the same kind of success with Boylan. They have a great reputation for service, and we are looking forward to working with them to bring our hand crafted sodas to more accounts in this market,” said Martin Kelly, president and CEO of Boylan in a prepared statement. Supreme will service 31 counties in northern Alabama, including the Birmingham, Huntsville and Tuscaloosa markets.
“Consumers in Alabama have demonstrated a taste for ‘better’ products, like artisanal breads, super premium ice cream and most recently, through the explosive growth of craft beers. We hope to capitalize on the “better” trends, and develop a market for full flavored, hand crafted sodas in the state. While the beverage giants are great at mass production and global marketing, we are simply focused on sharing our excitement about the craft soda category, and working with the sales and delivery staff at Supreme to satisfy the thirsty consumers of Alabama with our bold, flavorful sodas,” commented Kelly.
