Cantaloupe adds WeWeimi smart coolers to Seed Pro ecosystem

Cantaloupe and Weweimi are integrating AI-enabled Smart Coolers with Seed Pro and Seed Markets to give convenience services operators another connected retail option.

Cantaloupe and Weweimi (Shenzhen) Technology Co. Ltd. have inked a services agreement to integrate and certify Weweimi’s AI-enabled smart cooler technology for Cantaloupe’s Seed Pro and Seed Markets software platforms.

According to the companies, the agreement gives convenience services operators access to smart cooler technology while allowing them to continue managing operations through Cantaloupe’s existing software ecosystem.

SenseBox LLC, Weweimi’s North American technology and commercialization entity, supports deployment of the smart cooler technology in the U.S. Automated Services International Inc. exclusively distributes the SenseBox solutions in North America under the BRITE by ASI brand.

ASI President Joe Loparco said in a statement that the integration is intended to help independent operators that already rely on Cantaloupe’s vending management software and want to avoid operating multiple systems. “This integration is the single most important development in our nearly two-year relationship with SenseBox,” Loparco said.

Jeff Dumbrell, chief revenue officer at 365 Retail Markets, said in a release that the agreement expands the technologies available to operators while keeping management functions within one platform.

Larry Akramongkolrojn, director of SenseBox, said the collaboration combines Weweimi’s technology development, SenseBox’s North American integration capabilities, Cantaloupe’s software ecosystem and ASI’s distribution network.

Cantaloupe became a 365 Retail Markets company following its acquisition in May 2026. The combined companies provide technology and payment solutions for unattended retail and self-service commerce.
