Crane Payment Innovations has rebranded its vending business as Crane Convenience to better align with the growing convenience services sector and the broader unattended retail industry.

The business, part of Crane NXT Co., brings together decades of experience under legacy names such as Mars Electronics International, Conlux, CashCode, Money Controls, Dixie-Narco, National Vendors and Crane Merchandising Systems. Its portfolio includes vending and coffee machines, payment technology and software designed to operate as an integrated system for operators.

According to the company, the Crane Convenience identity is intended to reaffirm its market leadership while emphasizing quality, reliability and holistic system design. The rebrand reflects the company’s position that vending works best when equipment, payments and software are developed together to simplify operations, improve reliability and support growth for operators.

Matt Volinsky, vice president and general manager of Crane Convenience, CPI, said the change is intended to clarify the brand’s role as the market expands beyond traditional vending toward broader convenience services. That shift, he noted, is being “driven by consumer demand for speed, flexibility and more integrated experiences.”

As part of the rebrand, Crane Convenience plans to launch a new website intended to help operators more easily explore solutions, access resources and engage with the company. Crane Payment Innovations will remain the parent company, continuing to provide integrated payment and retail technology across its businesses.
