Worldnet Payments CEO Forecasts Future Of Smart Vending

April 30, 2019

Will Byrne, CEO of Worldnet Payments, says in an interview with PYMNTS that the smart vending space will grow along with the use of contactless payments. He says laundromats and mass transit may also continue to gravitate toward contactless payment systems. He said the jobs in which people conduct manual processing tasks in the vending machine industry such as cash-counting will be eliminated with the automation trend, but there will be jobs for people who can analyze the data from the automated systems.

PYMNTS has included an audio recording of the interview on its website with the article describing Byrne's predictions.
