AAA announces that after a nine-day hold, the national gas price average slowly started to decline at the beginning of the Thanksgiving week. The national gas price average today, $2.54, is forty cents more than a year ago and two cents less than a week ago. Gas can be found for $2.50 or less at 55 percent of gas stations country-wide.
