MarketSight, an AI-powered camera made exclusively for 365 Retail Markets’ MM6 Mini kiosk, is designed to combat under-ringing theft at micro markets.
When mounted on the MM6 Mini kiosk, MarketSight counts scanned items and compares that number to the total items detected in a shopper’s hand. If there’s a mismatch such as an item being skipped, MarketSight alerts the user, allowing customers to correct missed items before checkout. If the mismatch is not resolved, the system flags the incident for back-end review, removing ambiguity for operators.
Designed to reduce accidental errors and deter intentional theft, MarketSight combats shrinkage, protecting the bottom line for convenience service operators.
MarketSight can be ordered as an add-on with new MM6 Mini kiosks and can be retrofit on existing MM6 Mini kiosks already installed in micro markets. The camera arm mounts directly to the MM6 Mini kiosk and takes only a few minutes to install.
What they are saying
“Theft has always been a perceived concern for food service operators since the introduction of micro markets. 365’s approach addresses those concerns in an innovative way, adding one more tool to their loss prevention toolkit,” said Boris Amegadjie, chief product officer at 365 Retail Markets, in a release. “With MarketSight, we’re giving our operators better insight, security, and peace of mind.”
