Startup Routific has created a software – based on the ‘bees algorithm’ – that helps delivery companies find the best route and save fuel, reports FastCoExist. The algorithm is based on how bees find the best route to flowers by flying long distances in random directions. Once they find food, they fly back. The startup’s route optimization software acts similarly. It quickly churns data and creates efficient routes for delivery companies, reportedly saving 40 percent on driving time and fuel.
