That means you can download DEX files in seconds with your Android tablet or phone and an inexpensive off-the-shelf cable. DexLink works with any modern vending machine that supports standard DEX protocols and is supported by it’s own cloud based VMS solution. Or, if you prefer, you can integrate DexLink with your existing VMS package via the industry standard VDI protocol.
DexLink represents a major leap forward for the vending industry as it transitions to mobile. User friendly and affordable, without the need for Bluetooth or telemetry hardware, DexLink is the perfect tool for operators to gain insight into their operation. Sales, cash, driver activity and alerts can all be tracked via the app. Just plug in, hit Start and your data is uploaded automatically as soon as your tablet has internet access, no docking or manual uploads necessary.
In order to move files off of your phone or tablet you will need a DexLink VMS account, which you can create at www.dexlink.paylabnetworks.com . DEX data is automatically uploaded to your account once you sign into the mobile app.
You will also need an Android phone or tablet running Android 4.0 or newer and it must support USB on-the-go. You will require a DEX cable, along with an RS232 to standard USB cable and a Standard USB to micro USB cable. All cables are available directly from PayLab.
