VendTech International relaunched its cashless payments hardware line as VendXPay under its technology-focused division, VendTech Technology, following its acquisition of the card-reader business earlier this year, the company said.

VendXPay provides redundant cellular coverage, and all units ship with a cellular modem that works across AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile. The company also claims 99.9999% uptime through redundant cloud-based systems.

The product lineup includes multiple reader options that support contactless payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, along with chip and swipe transactions, according to the company. Features listed across models include 4G LTE connectivity, remote monitoring and integration with “nearly every” vending management system platform, with one model also listing Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity.

VendTech said it spent months testing and refining the payment products across its own routes and staff-owned machines before reintroducing them under the VendXPay name. The company is positioning VendXPay alongside its VendXONE vending management software as part of a broader toolset for unattended retail operators.
