Utz debuts seasonal snacks, new flavor collaborations

May 9, 2025
Utz's latest product debuts include new limited-time spicy snacks, pretzel flavors, and chips baked in avocado oil.

Utz Brands, Inc. will spotlight new products from its Utz, Zapp, Boulder Canyon and On The Border brands at this year’s Sweets & Snacks Expo.

Valentine’s Day, Easter, Halloween, sports seasons and the winter holidays comprise Utz’s seasonal offerings on show. A lemonade-flavored potato chip, developed in collaboration with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, will be available for a limited time in summer 2025. Up to $25,000 from this flavor’s sales will be donated to pediatric cancer research.

A partnership with Mike’s Hot Honey has resulted in two new limited-time spicy snack offerings:

  • Utz Cheese Pizza-Mike’s Hot Honey Cheese Balls are available through October 2025.
  • Boulder Canyon-Mike’s Hot Honey Kettle-Cooked Chips, made with avocado oil, will be available through March 2026.

New pretzel flavors also made their show floor debut at S&SE:

  • Utz’s Sour Cream & Onion chip flavor joins its Mixed Minis Pretzel line.
  • Zapp’s Big Cheezy Sinfully Seasoned Pretzel Stix combines Cajun seasoning with cheddar cheese.

Two other Utz products were available for sampling at the event:

  • Boulder Canyon introduced two new ‘wavy’ chips: Wavy Sea Salt and Wavy Cheddar Sour Cream. Utz also announced that the brand will deliver avocado oil in all segments of the potato chip category, including its two newest offerings.
  • On The Border’s Café Style line added Lime & Sea Salt and Garlic & Mexican Herb flavors.

New flavors are now available on the company’s website and at retailers nationwide.
