Dot Foods to distribute Roland products beginning in early 2027

Roland Foods will acquire Savor Brands from Dot Foods under an agreement that also expands distribution for both product lines.

Roland Foods plans to acquire Savor Brands from Dot Foods under a partnership that will expand distribution of both companies’ ingredient portfolios.

Dot Foods will receive an equity interest in Roland Foods as part of the transaction, the companies announced earlier this month. A separate commercial agreement calls for Dot to distribute Roland and Savor products through its nationwide redistribution network.

The agreement will give food-industry customers access to greater product selection as well as ordering and delivery options, according to the companies. Savor will add a frozen portfolio and expand Roland Foods’ offerings.

Roland products are expected to become available through Dot Foods in early 2027. Roland Foods will also make both brands' products available through its existing distribution networks on a similar schedule.

Keith Dougherty, CEO of Roland Foods, said the distribution agreement will make the company’s products accessible to more customers. Joe Tracy, chairman and CEO of Dot Family Holdings, said the partnership combines Roland’s import-sourcing experience with Dot’s supply-chain capabilities.

The companies will continue operating separately until the transaction closes. After closing, existing customer orders, terms, contracts and service arrangements will remain in place.
