Smuckers’ Uncrustables launches higher-protein PB&J sandwiches

Uncrustables has introduced two new higher protein peanut butter and jelly sandwiches: Bright-Eyed Berry and Up & Apple. Each sandwich contains 12 g of protein.

The Bright-Eyed Berry sandwich pairs peanut butter with strawberry jam while the Up & Apple variant combines peanut butter with apple cinnamon jelly. Both sandwiches are crafted with whole grains and more fiber. The sandwiches are individually wrapped and ready to enjoy straight from the freezer, requiring no preparation.

For operators in the refreshment and convenience services sectors, the grab-and-go products present an opportunity to cater to the growing demand for protein-enriched snacks.
