The new hubz Smart Cooler is now available in North America and will soon ship in other regions. Hubz, an equipment line specializing in smart, unattended retail points of sale, is a partnership between Parlevel Systems, Shekel Brainweigh, and Imbera Cooling.
The hubz cooler will also be on display at The NAMA Show, Aug. 18-20 in New Orleans.
Enabling operators to maximize product offerings, hubz can help operators tap into locations that might be underserved by vending machines or micro markets. It can offer a selection of high margin and diverse products in a wide array of locations, including office spaces, hotels, hospitals, transit stations, gyms and retail stores, among others. The secure cooler can only be opened when a customer presents a payment method.
“The hubz cooler allows companies to bring unattended retail into untapped locations – those of high traffic and highly transient customers, enabling a real time frictionless shopping experience and encouraging a flexible variety of product mix,” said Udi Wiesner, general manager of the Retail Innovation Division at Shekel Brainweigh.
“Combining the functionality of intelligent vending and micro markets, hubz smart coolers help operators provide the ultimate customer experience and meet the growing consumer demand for fresh, healthy, and diverse products through unattended retail points of sale," he summed up.
The key features that make the cooler "truly smart" are Shekel’s Product Aware Technology, an array of IoT load sensors and advanced machine learning algorithms; Parlevel’s management system, a combination of tools for service efficiency, product sales and planogram management; and Imbera’s best-in-class cooler technology.
The hubz smart cooler will be at Parlevel Systems’ booth No.1412 and the Shekel Brainweigh/Hitachi booth No. 2220 at the NAMA Show in the Earnest N. Morial Convention Center. After the show, demos will available from Parlevel and Shekel, Imbera’s showroom in Kennesaw, GA.
