For the 7th time already euvend & coffeena, the international vending and coffee trade fair, is awarding the "Vending Star" innovation prize. Koelnmesse as the organiser and the German Vending Association (BDV) as the industry sponsor of the trade fair initiated the innovation competition for the 2007 event in order to promote the development of innovative ideas in the vending industry and thus set sustainable impulses for the continuing market development of the vending industry. The "Vending Star" honours services that guarantee sustainable optimisation on the vending market.
Innovative and interesting solutions that fulfil the functional demands and distinguish themselves from existing technical devices, tools, concepts or products as a result of their high degree of innovation have the best chances of winning.
Four winners in total will be distinguished with the "Vending Star".
Services from four sections are evaluated:
-Technical devices (vending machines, payment systems, peripheral equipment supporting the vending machines or the payment function of vending machines)
-Aids for the optimisation of the operation of vending machines (e.g. data read-out devices, means of transport, IT solutions, promotional materials, housings, vending machine
-compatible beverage containers, means for optimising the filling and cleaning processes of vending machines)
-Concept (novel vending idea) -Innovative vending filling product (for issuing or preparing product suitable for vending machines)
All of the registered exhibitors can take part in the competition. The competition entries can be submitted up until 15.03.2019. An independent jury consisting of international experts will choose the winners of the "Vending Star". The "Vending Star" will be presented at euvend & coffeena Night on 10 May 2019 at the Flora in Cologne. All of the products nominated for the competition that were distinguished by the independent jury as the most innovative solutions in advance will be exhibited in the Vending Star Area.
