Five Star Breaktime Solutions opens expanded Dothan facility
Five Star Breaktime Solutions has relocated its Dothan, Ala., operations to a larger branch office and distribution center as the convenience services provider continues to grow across the Wiregrass region.
The 20,000-ft2 facility provides twice the warehouse space of the former location, according to a company announcement, along with expanded office space, improved logistics infrastructure, a catering kitchen and an upgraded employee breakroom. Five Star said its customer base in the Dothan market has tripled since the company entered the area a little more than five years ago.
“This move reflects the strong relationships we’ve built within the Wiregrass community and the continued trust our customers place in us,” said Katie Pilcher, sales director for Five Star, in a release. “As our business grows, it is important that our facilities grow with it so we can continue delivering the high level of service our partners expect.”
The expansion adds capacity for a company that operates across a broad convenience services mix, including micro markets, vending, office coffee service, water, pantry, fresh food, catering and corporate dining. In a May 2026 VendingMarketWatch.com operator profile, Five Star reported 48 offices, 685 routes and approximately 2,700 employees.
Five Star marked the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a $5,000 donation to the Wiregrass Area Food Bank through its Feeding the Future foundation. The company said the contribution will support meals for area children and families experiencing food insecurity.
