Splash Beverage Group Inc., a portfolio company of leading beverage brands, announced it has entered into a new agreement with Horizon Retailers Association (HRA). Based in Atlanta, Georgia, HRA is one of the South’s fastest growing convenience store retail associations, representing more than 2,500 retailers and 20 major vendors in the Southeast.
HRA, a retail buying group, has made a significant commitment to TapouT Energy Drink, adding it to its fall planogram available to all HRA participating stores.
Recently, the company announced its new distribution agreement with United Distributors of Georgia. According to the announcement, this retail execution is a direct result of that partnership. Rolling out in October, the TapouT Energy brand has been granted three facings, one for each flavor, in HRA’s Energy Drink category set.
“We couldn’t be prouder to announce this agreement,” Robert Nistico, chief executive officer of Splash Beverage Group, said in the announcement. “This is our largest planogramed authorization to date and believe TapouT Energy Drink will greatly benefit from this level of retail concentration and cold availability for immediate consumption. Our team has been hard at work over the past few months putting all these pieces into place. Splash’s footprint will increase significantly in the Southeast with this announcement.
