The National Automatic Merchandising Association has opened nominations for its highly awaited 2022 Industry Awards. Nominations must be submitted by Feb. 11.
The annual awards program recognizes exemplary leaders in convenience services in three distinctions. NAMA members can nominate peers and colleagues for Industry Person of the Year, Operator of the Year and Allied Member of the Year.
The three awards will be presented in person at the NAMA Show in Chicago in April.
Nominees must be a member of NAMA, and be active in the national association, its state councils and their own communities. Candidates should be innovative, possess a willingness to expand conventional practices and adhere to ethical business standards in accordance with NAMA's code of ethics.

Last year's honorees were Greg Sidwell, president of G&J Marketing and Sales, Industry Person of the Year; Jerry Scott, vice president and general manager at Canteen of Coastal California, Operator of the Year; and John Hickey, cofounder of Tech 2 Success, Allied Member of the Year.
NAMA's 2022 Coffee Legend Award will be presented in the fall at the association's Coffee, Tea and Water show. Tom Steuber, president and owner of San Francisco's Associated Coffee Services, was the 2021 legend.
