Cantaloupe Inc. names Jeff Dumbrell chief revenue officer

Digital payments and unattended retail technology provider Cantaloupe Inc. appointed Jeff Dumbrell chief revenue officer, effective Jan. 1. Drumbell will be responsible for the company’s revenue strategy, global sales and worldwide business development.

Cantaloupe's new CRO has more than 20 years' experience building and scaling high-performing payments and technology organizations. Most recently, Dumbrell served as senior vice president of strategic partnerships at Boost Payment Solutions.

From 2008 to 2013, Dumbrell served as executive vice president of VeriFone Systems Inc.'s Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific business, where revenue grew from $350 million to more than $900 million across 50-plus countries during his tenure. 

He is also a cofounder of PowaPOS, a B2B infrastructure provider of tablet and smartphone-based payments technology. PowaPOS was acquired by SuperCom in 2016.

I am excited to have him join the Cantaloupe team,” said Douglas Bergeron, chairman of Cantaloupe's board of directors and former Verifone chief executive.
