Two Amazon Go Stores To Open in Washington, D.C.

Aug. 14, 2020

According to Progressive Grocer, Amazon is planning to open Amazon Go grocery stores in the Washington, D.C. area. One of the locations will reportedly be Amazon's largest U.S. grocery retail store at nearly 13,000 square feet. The article noted that Amazon has plans to open up to three more grocery stores in the D.C. suburban area, but details for these outlets have not been released.

As more Amazon Go locations open across the country, American consumers will grow more comfortable with cashier-less, unattended retail in public-facing spaces.
