May 3, 2018

Arizona State University's Downtown Phoenix campus is initiating a program to promote healthy living through new snack and beverage options in its vending machines, as stated by ASU Now. Vending machines around campus will add healthy options such as nuts, granola bars, high-fiber chips, water, juice and tea in addition to traditional items.

Students are excited to have a healthy resource as part of their environment. Krystal Lewis, manager of strategic partnerships at ASU who played the key role in executing the healthy vending initiative, explained that the new initiative will help the university understand consumer behavior when it comes to making decisions about snacks.
