After completing a strategic review, Nestle plans to sell its U.S. confectionery unit by the end of its first quarter, according to Food and Business News. Nestle announced plans last June to explore strategic options for its confectionery business which could include a potential sale, it said at the time. The U.S. confectionery business includes brands such as Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, 100 Grand, Skinny Cow, Raisinets, Chunky, Oh Henry! and Sno-Caps.
