The federal minimum wage will remain unchanged in 2018, at $7.25 per hour, according to the National Law Review. The following states will have a $0.50 increase: Arizona, California, Oregon, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington. The most notable differences in wages are in these states, with the following increases: Colorado will increase from $9.30 to $10.20; the District of Columbia will increase from $12.50 to $13.25; Hawaii will increase from $9.25 to $10.10; and Maine will increase from $9.00 to $10.00.
