Texas Vending Community Begins Relief Effort After Tropical Storm Harvey

Aug. 28, 2017

Humanitarian relief efforts are being started for vending employees, clients, and communities in Northeast, East, and South Texas impacted by the recent storm. Anyone with knowledge of temporary housing or support, is being asked to send it. "We need to get our impacted peers/associates in a home," said Josh Rosenberg, president of Pflugerville, TX based Accent Food Service. The company already has 3 to 5 impacted employees, with more on the verge.

Please message harveyrelief@accentfoods.com if you know anyone impacted, supporting relief efforts, and/or know of parties able to donate. Accent Food Services is staging efforts out of its Dallas facility to help those in need.

"Thank you to everyone who has reached out concerned or willing to help," said Rosenberg. "We will rebuild and be stronger than ever!"
