Florida School Custodian Fired For Vending Theft

News-press.com reports a nighttime custodian at Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School in Fort Myers, FL, was fired after breaking into three vending machines and stealing $50 in cash. Yzael Colon Heavelin was arrested on criminal mischief and petty theft charges after video surveillance and interviews with the night crew showed he was in several areas of campus he had not been assigned. The machines are owned by Goodwill Industries and suffered $5,500 in damage.
