June 17, 2016

Luring the top employees from the U.S. applicant pool means looking at Millennials and understanding what they desire, including a good salary and unconventional benefits as well, reports Employee Benefit Advisor. The new Staples Advantage Workplace Index indicates that a flexible work schedule would improve happiness for nearly half of Millennials, and 59 percent indicated it would increase productivity.

The breakroom was another important area. Staples found that a well-stocked breakroom leads to happier workers (57 percent) as well as employees being less stressed and more productive.
